House of Hope was birthed through the grief and pain of losing a child. Trace Lynn Hargraves was twenty-one years old when he lost his battle to addiction. The percentage rate of addiction along with suicide continues to climb in our nation; neither does it discriminate against the family it preys on. I stand with many others in my community and this nation who have been touched by these two atrocities.

House of Hope is a week-long on campus program. Our curriculum is designed to provide a loving, structured, teaching environment on Biblical principles, social skills, communication skills, and team building skills. Each evening, we invite a local speaker to share their testimony to inspire and cast a vision to these future leaders at the same time draw out their gifts and talents to apply with their life skills and set them on a path to success.

Our overreaching goal is to encourage further development by implementing accountability, consistency, goal setting and an opportunity to provide scholarships for continued education and certifications to transition into society.

Our certified counselors on staff are here to facilitate healing, deliverance, and implement tools to help cultivate loving relationships, peace, and unity within the family dynamics. We believe this program will make an impact inside and outside the home.

In addition, we offer a community service program on and off campus. We see this service as an extension of our mentoring program; a way to create a safe place to instill good work ethics and continue their further development. For more information, please contact our main office or send us an email.

NOTE: This program is registered with the state of Texas to fulfill the Diversion Act Program passed January 2024 for the state of Texas. Any individual seventeen and under who completes this program, and their allotted community service hours will qualify to have their record expunged. We also encourage young adults over seventeen to apply for this program.
